Signs of Power calendar 2027
The new 2027 calendar featuring Latvian signs has arrived.
At the center of the calendar cover is the Dragon sign—one associated with time and destiny.
In contemporary Latvian symbolism, it is linked to the energy of fire, responsibility, dynamism, creativity, transformation, and the ability to influence the material world. In folklore, the Dragon brings money, grain, or other valuables to its master.
The upper part of the cover depicts the constellation Draco in the sky; in Latvia, it appears high up on summer evenings, low on winter evenings, and at a medium height during spring and autumn.
Two owls symbolize wisdom and a sharp mind.
Alongside modern month names, the calendar includes ancient Latvian names. You will find a brief overview of the history of calendars, descriptions and graphic illustrations of seasonal signs, as well as comprehensive information on moon phases and their effects.

This year, the calendar measures 230 x 415 mm and features a white metal spiral binding with a hanging hook; each calendar is individually wrapped in a plastic sleeve.

The calendar will soon be available in bookstores; you can also purchase it at the www.zimjuspeks.lv online store (click the link here), at any markets where we attend, and at the Christmas market in Dome Square this December—quantities are limited!
